Client Videos - Step by Step

Within CAC CareNet, uploading and saving videos to a client profile takes just a few seconds. Within this article we will cover how to upload and use the Videos tab, please follow along below.


Step 1. Navigate to the Videos tab on a client profile. Once on the videos tab, you will see:
  1. Information on storage for your database. (Please note: your server space can be modified, please contact us for details)
  2. Video Search
  3. Video upload section (mp4 format recommended)
  4. Previously uploaded videos
  5. Actions that can be completed with videos (Please see step 3)
  6. Video status (if a video is ready for viewing/download it will say 'Ready;' if a video is still being uploaded it will say 'Processing')
  7. Video refresh (this will update the video table for the most up-to-date information)


Step 2: To upload a new video to your database, first enter a description for the video (A), then press the 'Upload Video' button (B).
Note: Depending on the upload size of your video, it may not be available for viewing/downloading immediately. To check the status of your upload please reference the 'Status' column or press the refresh button.  

Step 3. After a video has been uploaded to your database, it will be displayed in the 'Video Uploads' table. If you would like to interact with the video, you have several options in the 'Actions' column. Those are:
  1. View the video
  2. Download the video
  3. View video history. This includes viewing, downloading, and deleting.
  4. Archive the video. This will remove the video from immediate access and put it into long-term storage freeing up storage space and possibly reducing additional storage fees.  It is recommended to archive videos that do not need to be accessed within the next 6 months or longer.  For all videos that have been archived, the retrieval process can take up to one business day (depending on the size) before the video can be viewed or downloaded.  If the video needs to be retrieved within 6 months of being archived, there may be a small fee charged for retrieval.
  5. Video delete. This will permanently remove the selected video from your database.
