DCFS Reporting Demographics, Race/Ethnicity of Victims, Victim Age/Sex Distribution, and Relationship of Perpetrator to Child
1) Children in Care Referred is selected on the client profile using the field In CPS Custody.
2) Children previously served at CAC is auto-calculated based on any previous cases entered and linked in CAC CareNet.
A) DOB Calculates Age Range
B) Gender For Victim and Perpetrator
C & D) Both are Required Ethnicity and Race
A) CAC CareNet Relationships are mapped to DCFS Relationships
B) Indicate the account record as a Perpetrator
C) DOB Calculates Age Range for Perpetrator
D) Gender of Perpetrator
E & F) Race and Ethnicity for Perpetrator
Important Note: Even If a Perpetrator is Unknown, An Account Record must be created for the Perpetrator in order for it to be counted on the DCFS Report. In most cases some information may be available such as Gender/Race/Ethnicity. DO NOT LINK AN EXISTING PERPETRATOR. When adding the perpetrator record, you must perform a search but ALWAYS choose NEW. For best practices, Use UNKNOWN for the First Name and the Victims Last Name as the Last Name. If the Perpetrator is discovered, you can edit the victim profile and update the Perpetrator Information.
