Editing a Personnel Profile - Step by Step
To edit a personnel profile follow the steps below:
Step 1. Navigate to the personnel search
Note: Depending on your permission set you may receive an permission error message. If you do, please contact your local administrator.
Step 2. Once on the personnel search page you have several options to utilize before searching.
- Personnel Demographics
- Person Type (Assigned when creating a new personnel profile)
- Personnel Gender
- Active Status (Looks for personnel who have the 'Inactive Person' checkbox selected on their personnel profile. Please see step #4)
- Only Users (Looks for personnel who have a username and password only. This search will exclude those without login credentials)
- Search results
- Search sort options (press within the column header to sort by that option)
- View Profile
Step 3. Once you've searched and found the profile you'd like to edit, simply press the 'Profile' button. After your page reloads you will be on the personnel page. On both the 'Profile' and 'Contact' tabs you can view information about that personnel. To edit personnel information, press the 'Edit Account' button.
Tip: The 'Security Groups' section tells you what user group that personnel is apart of. User groups directly correlate to what access a single (or group) personnel have within your database.
Step 4. After your page refreshes you now have the ability to make changes to any of the personnel fields.
- Agencies: This correlates to the agency this personnel is assigned to. This designation will affect drop downs throughout the client profile where you select personnel (e.g. referring person, referring agency, performed by person)
- Personnel Demographic Data
- Login Credentials
- Active: By checking/unchecking this box you can control if the login credentials can be used to access your database.
Tip: If you have a personnel that no longer works with your center, simply uncheck the active box and check the 'Inactive Person' box. This will block that user from logging in as well as hide that personnel from active searches.
Step 5. After making any changes, press the save button!
