Personnel Profile Preferences Tab - Step by Step

Within the personnel profile we offer users options to fully customize their experience with CareNet. Part of this customization occurs within the preferences tab in the personnel profile. Currently within the preferences tab you can customize:
  1. Client Personnel Default to Self: This selection option is in reference to the personnel drop-down within clients tab. By default this field will automatically select whoever is logged in to populate the drop down. If you would prefer it not auto-populate your name, edit the option and change the selection to an unchecked box.
  2. Client Personnel Default Open Client in New Window: This option is in reference to the clients tab as well, specifically after completing a search for a client and if you want the client profile to open in the same window or a secondary window. If set to yes (a checked box) after clicking through to a profile it will open in a new tab, if set to no it will go to the profile in the same tab.
To access and edit your preferences please follow the steps below:


Step 1. Navigate to your personnel profile. This can be completed by pressing your username (in the upper right hand corner) and selecting profile (A). You can also access your personnel profile (or another personnel) by expanding the personnel tab and clicking search (B).


Step 2. Once on your personnel profile click the 'Preferences' tab and click the pencil icon to update.

Step 3. From the edit window you can either check (to say yes) or uncheck (to say no) to that preference.  After making any changes make sure to press the save button!
