Creating a Group Copy (Encounter Services) - Step by Step

Creating a group copy allows you to save an encounter service to multiple clients at the same time! To create a group copy several steps must be taken:


Step 1: Navigate to the client you wish to add a group copy to. Searching can be completed through the search bar in the upper right corner, or via the search pages found within the Clients drop down.

Step 2: Once on the client profile where you would like to capture the group copy you first must ensure you have the other clients (that you would like to copy the encounter to) are setup as a 'Linked Account' (Fig. 1). To link one account to another simply press the 'Link Account' button, search for the client you'd like to link up, and press the 'Add Link' button (Fig. 2).

Step 3: After a link has been established you can now add a group copy encounter service. From the Services tab first press the 'Add Encounter' button.

Step 4: To make the encounter a group copy you must first complete and save the encounter service. Once the service has been saved simply use the actions column and press the 'Copy Encounter Button'.



Step 5: After pressing the 'Copy Encounter' button you will get a popup asking you to select the client(s) you would like to copy the encounter service to. This field is multi-select, so feel free to choose as many linked accounts to copy the service to. After making your selections press the 'Save' button.
Note: If the name of the client you want to copy the service to is missing, go back to Step 2 and ensure the clients have successfully been linked together.


Step #6: After you've saved the group copy, the icon for the 'Copy Encounter' button will change, and  you can double check within the encounter service to see what profile it was copied to.
