Client Account Lock - Step by Step

Client Account Lock - Step by Step

Within the client profile you have the option to lock a client profile to a specific personnel or multiple. The process to locking a client profile is an easy process, please follow the steps below:

Step 1. Navigate to a client profile. This can be completed by searching, or by creating a new client profile.
Step 2.  Once in a client profile you'll see two new sections. The first section (A), the lock icon, indicates the lock status of a client profile. The second section (B) indicates what personnel have the ability to access the client profile. For a client profile to be locked at least one personnel must be listed in the allowed section.
Important: Adding personnel to the allowed section does not change their security permissions. There are new permission options related to locking, those can be found here.
Note: If creating a new client profile the personnel who created the profile will not automatically be added to the 'Allowed Personnel' section. To lock a client profile will need to occur after it has been created.

Step 3. To add personnel to the allowed list, press the 'Add Personnel' button.

Step 4. In the popup you'll see a personnel search box, type in the name (or other identifying information) of the personnel you would like to add to the allowed list. Then press the 'Add' button.

Step 5. After adding personnel to the allowed section, you'll see their names listed. To remove any allowed personnel, simply press the remove button.

Step 6. To officially lock the account, so only the allowed personnel can access it, you'll need to press the lock icon next to the client name.

After pressing the icon you will get a confirmation pop-up, to ensure you do want to lock the account. Select yes to lock the account.

After locking the account you will see the icon change from the unlocked to locked.
Note: You can provide each personnel with different permissions to whether or not they can lock/unlock an account and add/remove personnel from the allowed section. Please check out the new permissions here.

Step 7. If you would like to unlock the account (to allow all personnel to access the account) simply press the lock icon again changing it to the unlock position.
