Changing Your Site Settings - Step by Step

Within CAC CareNet we give each individual center the ability to choose their preference for site settings. This includes:
  1. Timezone: Your local timezone.
  2. Primary contacts: Primary contacts for the center and referral manager.
  3. Primary agency: If multiple agencies have been entered you can define the primary one.
  4. Multi-agency setup: Allows you to add in multiple agencies to be used during the intake process (e.g. where a client was seen at). To learn more about setting up multiple agencies press here
  5. Password requirements: How many days in between password changes, requiring a unique password.
  6. Agency case # patterns: Change the display of the case number (that appears within the case tab).
  7. Application timeout: Changing the amount of time for a user to be inactive before being automatically logged out.
  8. Client inactivity notifications: Changing the amount of days before an assigned user gets a notification that they haven't added any new information to a client profile (the notification is delivered through the notification icon in the upper right corner of CareNet).
  9. Client name composition: Change how the client name appears in searches and on profiles. (e.g.  First Last Middle, Last Middle First). 
To update and change site settings follow the steps below:


Step 1: From the Dashboard expand the Admin tab and press Site Settings.
Note: Depending on your permission set you may not have access to the admin tab. If you receive a permission error please contact your local administrator.  



Step 2: Once on the site settings tab you can access all the features mentioned above. Simply make you selections and press the save button. You can update these setting in real-time, meaning nobody needs to logout of the system for these changes to take place.
